Customized D20 Hanger Magnet with carabineer magnet.

In September 2023, the customer approached us and sent us their requirements and pictures. D20 hook magnet required by the customer. Customization is required, and the mold cost is relatively high, and the cycle is also relatively long. So we recommended similar products,like some kinds of pot magnets with hooks,fishing magnets home depot,magnetic assemblies, provided a quotation, and sent pictures for confirmation. I inquired a few times in the then, but no substantial progress was made.

In early February 2024, just before the Spring Festival, while I was still on my journey, customers began to contact me again and confirm the price of alternative products and the size of the hooks. Due to the warehouse holiday, we will immediately send the data to the customer for confirmation after the Spring Festival. The conclusion is that the opening size of the hook is too small. Therefore, we recommend several hook magnets to solve this problem. Later, it was rejected one after another.

At the end of February 2024, the customer confirmed that they will start using customized products. The customer defines this type of hook magnet as a hook hook magnet. We must create high-quality products for our customers. In terms of products, we must pursue excellence and perfection.

Our company's partners have found all the accessory suppliers for this product:

a. The protruding internal thread part of the pot magnet iron shell is shorter than traditional ones. We searched for many molds and coincidentally found one with the appropriate size, so there is no need to open the mold separately, which saves time and cost.

b. We have also found many similar plastic hook products and confirmed with customers. Finally, due to the size of the hook opening or other reasons, we had to open the mold. Mold manufacturers are our frequent partners. The quality is very good, and the specific materials are kept confidential by the customer.

c.I have seen similar stainless steel spring hardware accessories on plastic hooks on many websites in China, but the sizes are different and require customization, which requires debugging costs.

d.With screws and washers, I went to a hardware store near the company and picked them on the spot. The quality looks good. We have sent 6 free samples to the customer for testing.

Finally, the customer placed an order and the quantity exceeded expectations. According to market conditions, prices will be appropriately lowered. The customer is very good and did not negotiate because our samples are of better quality than the ones provided by the customer in all aspects. The quotation is indeed very low, and the profit margin is also very slim. We just hope to establish a long-term cooperative relationship.

The estimated delivery time is 15 days. Time is tight. The delivery dates for various accessories were quickly agreed upon. Finally, in about ten days, all the accessories arrived and there were some issues.

1. Because rubber parts are produced using molds, there will be some additional protrusions that need to be manually trimmed and polished, so we have added another process for this.

2. The quality of the pot magnet is very good, and the single surface coating is not as shiny as imagined, nor smooth enough. Later, it was found that it was due to the poor mold. But I hesitated that the size is a non-standard product, so after obtaining customer approval, I look forward to reopening the mold when the number of subsequent orders is large enough.
3. During the installation of the screws, it takes time, because the screws and washers are separated, and some screws cannot be tightened, so the screws need to be replaced. Later, I learned that there are matching sales, and screws with spring washers, and strive to replace this better Ross and washers after the next batch of goods is confirmed by the customer.
4. The assembly time exceeded expectations, and our workers worked overtime for four days. It took twice as long as expected, and the cost was of course twice as high.



Among them, the stainless steel spring on the rubber part had to be replaced by a new supplier because the supplier who provided the sample before could not arrange the delivery date. Surprisingly, the products provided by the new supplier are of better quality and more professional.

Finally, we conducted a random inspection of up to 10% of all products, and the qualified rate was 99%.
